I feel like I’ve been especially bitchy curmudgeonly in recent weeks, sticking pins in everything I come across. So I figured I’d start a series pointing out the wonderful stuff. (Doing my part to raise real-estate values!) It’ll focus more on the small and idiosyncratic—no Duane Park, no Staple Street—and the items will come in no particular order.
#1. At any point you might turn a corner to see a Balloon Saloon delivery. Not only are they a joyful sight in their own right, they’re bringing somebody happiness. (Bonus points for when they look like balloon bouquets with legs.)
And if there’s a breeze that day, so much the better!
I love when I see them on the subway.
