16. I love that spice importer Transit Trading Corporation is still based in Tribeca (at 196–198 W. Broadway, to be precise, with its warehouse around the corner at 29 Leonard). I love the squat brown building and the old-school blue sign. But most of all I love how, on certain days, the surrounding air becomes perfumed, as if Tribeca has been transformed into a Middle Eastern bazaar.
