••• Jung Sik—or JUNGSIK, as it appears to want to be known—is now taking reservations on OpenTable.
••• I wrote about 396 Broadway (at Walker) over the weekend. Reader Annouchka sent over a photo of what she presumed was a rooftop addition. I explained that I’m pretty sure it’s the mock-up (the owners plan on adding mechanicals, etc.) required by the Landmarks Preservation Commission. (When architect Gene Kaufman presented to CB1’s Landmarks Committee, he said the mock-up wasn’t ready.)
••• From Local 172, the vintage “shop” that was occasionally in the Damon Dash headquarters on Duane: “WE HAVE MOVED OUT OF OUR FORMER LOCATION AT 172 DUANE. YOU CAN NOW VISIT US BY APPOINTMENT AT OUR SHOWROOM IN THE GARMENT DISTRICT (EMAIL APPOINTMENT@LOCAL172.COM). WE WILL ALSO BE OCCUPYING THE REED SPACE ANNEX AND HOSTING VINTAGE WEEK AT 151 ORCHARD STREET FROM 9/22-9/25. AND SOON: OUR FIRST FULL FLEDGED BRICK AND MORTAR SHOP, COMING TO NORTH BROOKLYN ON OR BEFORE 11/11/11. OUR WEBSTORE WILL BE LAUNCHING SHORTLY.” Normally I’d remove the caps but I’m in a rush.
••• Look what’s popping up on subway signage (thanks to @annika_k_martin for the photo):
I do hope an exception is being made here and that the signage won’t generally start getting all logo-ed up….

I saw the same signage in the Chambers St A,C station yesterday. All logo-ed up!
