••• A press release from the National September 11 Memorial: “Paul Jr. of ‘American Chopper’ unveils custom-made motorcycle commemorating the 9/11 Memorial and rebuilding of the World Trade Center Site. A Motorcycle with a Design Inspired by the Rebuilding will be Raffled to Benefit the Memorial.”
••• The Hideaway‘s Gael Delehanty emailed to point out that they’re now open for brunch; the menu is at left (click to enlarge). “I am personally especially fond of the French toast, spiced lentils, and the Hideaway Breakfast…. I’d also like to mention that we have a phenomenal Bloody Mary, as well as our house specialty—The Chesapeake Mary. Also, our Mimosas are made with hand-squeezed OJ. Damn. Aren’t we fancy?”
