••• High school student and Lego artist Rocco Buttliere of Buffalo Grove, Ill., has recreated the World Financial Center in more than 21,500 Legos: “Designing this model has been a tremendous undertaking which has been ongoing since July. I am proud to say that after nine months of work, a trip to New York City to take pictures, and many late nights (most within the past four weeks straight), I have officially finished designing my largest and most complex model yet: the World Financial Center complex in New York City.” (Scroll down Buttliere’s post to see more, including the marina.)
