April 11, 2012 Restaurant/Bar News, Shopping
••• From Aamanns/Copenhagen: “About that opening date. We know you’re SO anxious for us to open…and we are too! New York City permits can take (a lot of!) time, but we’re being patient and hope to have them soon. Stay tuned and we’ll let you know here as soon as those glass doors will fly open!”
••• The Harrison is closed for renovations, reopening for dinner on Friday.
••• The new Kaffe 1668 on Greenwich between Hubert and Beach is serving breakfast items (yogurt, granola, etc.). Lunch could start as soon as next week.
••• Speaking of next week: The HomBoms toy store is trying to open next week (and definitely in time for the Tribeca Family Festival on April 30).
••• Another reader took a photo of Jean (if that’s what it’s still called), the restaurant coming to 65 W. Broadway (Warren/Murray).
