Moomah 2.0

First things first: Mention Moomah‘s Facebook post about reopening and you can get a free cup of Counter Culture coffee today. Be careful, though: I spilled mine all over—on the counter, under the salt shakers, under the milk pitchers, on the stools, floor, and wall. (Hope they didn’t repaint.)

Moomah 2.0 is smaller than it was, but bigger than you might have expected. The café is about two-thirds the size it was before (not including the Funky Forest, where I’ve never been and have no idea how large it is; in my mind, it’s like Narnia in there). The back third is for private parties, classes, etc.

As for food, you can get breakfast items, pastries and treats, and a few light lunch items (quiche, soup). The menu is below; click to enlarge.

Moomah will be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For a taste of the old Moomah, on Thursdays at 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., craft classes will be offered. This Thursday’s is making picture frames for Mother’s Day; next week’s is T-shirts and totes. The $35 price includes admission to the Funky Forest (otherwise only open for parties). Reserve online.

That’s a petition local kids came up with. Love the grimacing exclamation points.
