••• @MattDruckor @MattDuckor and @JoannaSciarrino of Bon Appétit tweeted that Blue Bottle Coffee is saying in this help-wanted ad that it’s opening in mid-August (in the All Good Things marketplace on Franklin). Above: Some other Blue Bottle café.
••• “Jeffrey Chodorow told Grub Street that Kutsher’s Tribeca might soon be spreading out: ‘We are talking about doing small, satellite versions of Kutsher’s on the Upper East Side and Upper West Side, where you could get great pastrami sandwiches, knishes, and matzo-ball soup.’’’ I spared you the awful pun at the end.
••• From Curbed: “A couple weeks ago, when developer Andreas Giacoumis and architect Darrin Krumpus proposed their plans for 246 Front Street and 267 Water Street to Community Board One, the board had some reservations about the Water Street townhouse. […] Krumpus presented to the LPC this morning, and the LPC’s response was, in essence: Yeah, sure, fine. […] The buildings aren’t approved quite yet, however, as the LPC had a couple minor changes they wanted made.” Tribeca Trib has renderings.
