Seen & Heard: Dirty Bird Postponed

••• Dirty Bird To-Go postponed its opening. New date TBA.

••• Added to the agenda for Wednesday’s CB1 Tribeca Committee meeting: “56 Leonard Street Project—Introduction by Lend Lease US Construction Company.”

••• On Thursday at 6 p.m., Princess Katie & Racer Steve will play a free “back-to-school concert” at Washington Market Park.

••• Jack Hanley Gallery was reported as leaving Tribeca, but I just got a press release for an event at its “new project space,” Back Hanley, at the same address as its old gallery—136 Watts. I’d call but it’s Monday.

••• October 17 at 92YTribeca: “Join photographer Todd Selby and Mission Chinese’s Danny Bowien, Tartine Bakery’s Chad Robertson, and Blue Bottle Coffee’s Caitlin and James Freeman for a conversation on the food we love to eat with the people who make it, moderated by Lucky Peach editor-in-chief Chris Ying.”

••• World Financial Center’s Halloween party for kids (noon to 3 p.m. on Oct. 27) will be on the plaza this year—”with games, performances, a costume parade, and giant, 30-foot high characters including  a scarecrow and a witch. Against the backdrop of the Hudson River, a costume swap will enable families to exchange last year’s costumes for gently used and ready-to-wear ones for the next day’s trick-or-treating.”
