Seen & Heard: Paul Liebrandt’s Next Restaurant

••• The new medical office at 109 Reade—where Dr. Bonita Franklin was—is for Dr. Roula Tsolis’s Tribeca Pediatric Dentistry.

••• Press release: “Paul Liebrandt today announced that he has signed a deal to open a restaurant at the King & Grove Williamsburg. Liebrandt, chef/partner of the acclaimed Corton in Tribeca and the subject of the award-winning HBO Documentary, A Matter of Taste: Serving up Paul Liebrandt, will open The Elm in spring 2013.  The restaurant will be a partnership between Liebrandt and King & Grove Hotels, a lifestyle hotel brand with properties in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Miami, Montauk and many more projects on the horizon.” Liebrandt, who will remain at Corton, is quoted as saying, “I’m excited about Brooklyn and look forward to doing something very different from what we’re doing at Corton.”

••• Eric Zim emailed to say that he’s moving his store, Scissor, to a new space, and in the interim it’s a store-within-a-store at Jussara Lee (60 Bedford).

••• This year, Taste of Tribeca (May 18) is organizing two Dine-Out in Tribeca nights on Jan. 29 and Feb. 5: The group will release a list of restaurants that have participated in Taste of Tribeca, many of which will be offering special incentives.
