••• 92YTribeca will show Bring It On—a classic of its genre—on June 13.
••• More tours of the Woolworth Building have been made available: Woolworth100.com. Thanks to S. for the heads-up.
••• Just a reminder that Joy Gryson and I are throwing a get-together on Wednesday, March 20, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the By Joy Gryson boutique at 106 Franklin. Come on over, have a glass of wine (thanks to Frankly Wines), and say hello. Plus! During the event, you’ll save 15% on the spring lines of all three of Joy’s brands: Gryson, Olivia Harris, and IIIBeCa. (My mom, who lives in California, discreetly mentioned that if I wanted to buy her a bag, I should feel free….)
••• Press release: “Savanna, a New York-based private equity and asset management firm, has donated [till October] 8,409 square feet of space at 100 Wall Street to Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. LMCC will use the space for visual artist studios and performing artist rehearsals as well as professional development workshops for artists.”
••• My Little Sunshine, the kids’ store and barber shop, looks like it’ll open soon (at Hudson and Hubert). UPDATE: It opens Saturday.
••• If you only follow Tribeca Citizen via Facebook, please consider subscribing to the email newsletter (look for “Subscribe” in the upper right corner). Facebook is really limiting the reach of sites like mine, in an effort to get us to advertise. I don’t blame the company, but I don’t want to pay. Or join Twitter, where the fun never stops.
••• I was walking in Hudson River Park today, when I took this photo looking back toward Pier 26. You get a sense of how nice it’ll be….
