••• Moving Visions Dance is hosting a free family screening (and pizza party) of Believe You Can Dance, a 30-minute documentary about a group of Moving Visions students, on Wednesday June 12 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.: “Featuring long time Tribeca neighborhood teacher, Loretta Thomas, and her students from the classes of 2009 and 2010. ••• From Laboratorie New Music, a music collective based on Leonard Street: “Laboratorie New Music will launch its new CD label with six new releases in 2013 beginning with a box set from composer and founder Bil Smith. Smith’s 2013 Pulitzer Prize nominated work ‘Explorer, Producer, Stoic After Your Fashion’ for String Quartet with its highly unorthodox graphic score will mark the premier of the label.”
