Seen & Heard: There’s a New Nightclub on Church

Nassau planters••• Nassau Street (between Beekman and Spruce) got treed! Thanks to the anonymous reader who emailed me and @boyfrombatangas who tweeted this pic.

••• New Amsterdam Market could use volunteers for its special summer market on June 23. Also, the list of vendors includes the following first-timers: Amagansett Sea Salt, Brooklyn Seltzer Boys, Culton’s Organics,  Eat Food Distributors, Finger Lakes Distilling, Fresh Connections, Greenmarket Co., Heritage Radio Network, Johanna Kolodny, Lila Dobbs, Little Wrinkles, Pistache, Quinciple, Red Hook Winery, Sip Soups, Sohha Greek Yogurt, Suleimann Bakery, and the Vermont Sail Freight Project. And last but not least, the market “will include a rare visit by Main Street Farm of Livingston Manor, featuring smoked weir-caught Delaware River eels.”

••• Ed Hardy will be at Barnes & Noble Tribeca on June 18. He’s promoting a book called Wear Your Dreams: My Life in Tattoos.

••• When Pharrell held a party at Tribeca Canvas, I figured he took over the restaurant. But it was downstairs, in a new venue called King & Canvas. Will Community Board 1 end up regretting that 4 a.m. liquor license?
