Seen & Heard: Woolworth Building Exhibit Extended

Woolworth Building grotesque6••• From the Skyscraper Museum: “The popular exhibition The Woolworth Building @ 100 has been extended through September 8.” That’s as good a reason as any to bring up my neverending photo essay of the lobby (including the image above).

••• Shinola’s flagship store/showroom on Franklin Street is scheduled to open the weekend of July 19.

••• The six-story building at 56 Walker came on the market for $23 million. According to the brokerbabble, it has the “potential for an incredible single family home with the ability for a huge screening room that can seat more than 100 people or used as a swimming pool or basketball court.”

••• The price for the 58th floor at 56 Leonard was raised by $2 million, to $31 million.

••• A bit of eXerBlast lives on: The company designed the gym space at the new Reade Street Prep preschool. “We will be offering Little Blaster birthday parties for ages 2 to 5 there on weekends starting this fall,” says RSP founder Ilysa Winick.

••• The CB1 Tribeca hearing about the Smyth’s liquor-license alternation was postponed.
