From 11:30 to 12:30 the delegation will visit Cristina Dos Santos on N. Moore to see the products Cristina has imported from Africa. and hear about creating a product from raw materials, such as the Just Shea creams we produce (and that are sold at Cristina’s store).”

••• Siring Asian Grill on Broadway emailed to say it’s selling beer and other drinks and it has the Happiest Happy Hour in Tribeca: “For the month of July only, all beers will be buy one get one free after 7 PM for a diverse variety of individuals. Mondays will be Corporate Night, and any person working in a corporate setting or dressed in business casual attire will be able to receive discounts on beers or drinks. Tuesdays will be Ladies Night, Wednesdays will be City and Government Night and Thursdays will be Students Night. Friday nights will give anyone the chance to enjoy the After-7 special.”

••• Community Board 1, which usually has no meetings in August, says its Landmarks Committee will be meeting on August 8. Maybe something interesting (and urgent?) in in the works….

••• From the LMCCC: “The next Brooklyn Bridge Manhattan-bound (westbound) traffic closure i[will be from] 12:01 a.m. Saturday, July 20, through 6 a.m. Monday, July 22. Brooklyn-bound traffic will be maintained at all times. Traffic will access the Brooklyn Bridge from Pearl Street or Centre Street using a contra-flow configuration.”
