A bit of a shock from west Soho: Supercool fashion boutique Aloha Rag has shuttered its shop at 505 Greenwich. (This explains the big sale in May.) The sign in the window is cryptic, there’s no mention on its Twitter or Facebook accounts, and the answering machine’s outgoing message still acts as if the store is open—listing hours and such—but the website says “We’re moving!”

Anyone know where? One has to wonder whether the company wasn’t hoping for a bit more in the way of foot traffic….
