Seen & Heard: Two More Kittens Adopted

••• In case you missed it, Stephen Pile commented this about the kittens he had been documenting: “This past Thursday I visited Jared and his wife Saluda, ‘foster’ parents of Duco’s litter, to take a few photos. Wonderful couple, of course. I learned that the kittens’ eyes were yet to open when they took on the task of bottle feeding and bringing them along, so these kittens never actually saw their mother. Predictably, Sinjin and Kula ‘adopted’ my wife and I, and have taken permanent residence with us. Awesome dispositions and comfort with humans, thanks to the care they had the first eight weeks. There are still two left…!”

••• Luis reports that Alfanoose has appeared to move to 150 Fulton.

••• And Randy had this to say about TD Bank: “I read last year that TD Bank is trying to open 50 additional new branches in New York. Also heard a rumor that a north Tribeca location may be getting a branch.” (There had once been talk of a TD Bank at the southeast corner of Greenwich and Chambers, but it has yet to materialize.)

••• I didn’t expect this to be a roundup of comments, but I encourage you to check out the exchange between Lynn Ellsworth of Tribeca Trust and architect Jordan Parnass on the Harley-Davidson showroom.

••• Coming up at R 20th Century: “R 20th Century is pleased to announce a collaboration with Kulapat Yantrasast of WHY Architecture on the exhibition “What’s the Matter? An Investigation in Materials and Processes,” 17 September through 1 November 2013. Investigating both the source material and the process in creating contemporary furniture and design, the exhibit also serves as the debut of WHY’s object-making workshop: WHY/HOW. A series of unique, limited edition pieces will be designed and fabricated by WHY/HOW for the show, and be presented alongside key pieces from R 20th Century’s collection of vintage and contemporary masterworks.”
