The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat has decreed that 1 World Trade Center’s antenna is not merely an antenna but also a spire, and as such, the building is truly 1,776 feet tall, making it America’s Official Tallest Building. I don’t really have anything to add but the media is treating this as major news.
