A big thanks to the tipster who caught wind of what was opening in the former Tribeca Medical Center space at 303 Greenwich (between Reade and Chambers—a location I salivated over a few months back): a branch of Macaron Café. It’s a place I remember very fondly from when I worked in the Garment District—not only for the delicious macarons and coffee, but for the sandwiches, salads, and soups. This will be the fourth outpost—the others are all in Midtown—and owner Arnaud Cannone says the new one will be like the others. Here’s the menu, so you can get a sense of what’s coming—around April, is Cannone’s hope. (P.S. They spell it MacarOn Café.)
