January 9, 2014 Restaurant/Bar News
Here’s an interesting rumor, from a source who would very much know: One of the remaining slots in the Brookfield Place “dining terrace”—directly above the lower red circle in the floor plan above—is being taken by beloved the New York company Blue Ribbon. The problem is that Blue Ribbon has umpteen kinds of restaurants: Blue Ribbon proper, Blue Ribbon Bakery, Blue Ribbon Sushi, Blue Ribbon Sushi Izakaya, Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken, Blue Ribbon Beer Garden, Blue Ribbon Hi-Bar…. So which one are we going to get?
I’d wager it’s sushi, since there’s no sushi in the complex at this point, and people who work in offices require sushi. I’ve emailed Blue Ribbon, but I have yet to hear back.
