••• I spoke with Eric Schwimmer, the owner of Washington Market Tavern—the Mudville 9 sister coming to Murray—and he said that they’re shooting for an April 1 opening. Dig the branding! And I can’t wait to see the new landmark-appropriate storefront.
••• From Blue Moon Fish (via the Tribeca Greenmarket): “Our missing cat Rosie has been found living in the bowels of the Brooklyn Public Library. Thanks to the custodians, librarians and security guards that were able to catch her yesterday! And thanks to the artist-in-residence, who took her to the vet, where they scanned her chip.” And that’s why you should get your pet microchipped.
••• Interesting comment from Rosalie: “I just reread the article you did on Spring Studios & it mentions that there will be no personal events such as Bar Mitzvahs, etc., however, I have friends coming from out of town to stay with me since they will be attending a wedding this Sat. at Spring Studios. So much for no personal events!”
••• Café Clementine shows how you do it.

Update, my friends got a new last minute wedding invite saying the venue has been changed to the Conrad Hotel so evidently Spring Studios was not ready to host an event yet & the wedding planner had to scramble to find a last minute event space.
