In around two weeks, a new coffee shop called Café Boca Ciega is opening at 355 Broadway, in the kiosk where Jem Café was. According to the Craigslist help-wanted ad, it’ll have a Cuban bent: “We are looking for outgoing and skilled baristas who are committed in providing excellent customer service and creating amazing drinks. The job involves making specialty Cuban coffee along with the usual cafe drinks.” UPDATE: They’re also a digital media agency.
