In the News: Denny’s Tries to Go Upscale

••• Tribeca Trib attended the Denny’s meet-and-greet a while back and got some renderings of the interior. It looks like an airport version of Locanda Verde. The owner claimed that Pace students aren’t the target market for the bar, which is ludicrous.

••• The New York Times has one of those bonkers articles about “under-40 multimillionaires” who are “spending big to embrace unlikely neighborhoods in Lower Manhattan.” Honestly, it’s like they haven’t been to Tribeca in a decade. Only two buyers in this “new group of well-to-do buyers who are quickly gaining momentum” are named, and a third is only described anonymously. And even though they’re said to crave privacy, one of the two named buyers also appeared on the TV show “Million Dollar Listing.”

••• The New York Times takes a Fitwalker self-powered treadmill class at Superstar Gym.
