••• Press release: “The Hunter College MFA/BFA Program in Tribeca [at 205 Hudson] announces its Spring Open Studios, Friday, March 14, 6-10 PM and Saturday, March 15, 2-6 PM. Witness the work and join in the conversation as 140 artists open their studios, exhibit in group gallery spaces, run screenings, enact performances, and more. A silent auction of works will be held on Friday night from 6-9 PM.”

••• Brooklyn’s 440 Gallery is popping up in Tribeca this weekend: “Representing 14 artists the gallery will install a pop up exhibition, the first outside their home turf, at 62 Walker, from February 21 – 23, 2014. There will be an opening reception on February 21, 6-8 PM, and the exhibition will be open on Saturday, February 22, 10 AM – 7 PM, and on Sunday, February 23, 11 AM – 6 PM. The gallery will show a variety of styles and media, including drawing, painting, photography, constructed relief, digital, and printmaking.”
