Seen & Heard: Easter Egg Hunt

Schoolhouse Electric••• I hadn’t been in Schoolhouse Electric in a while. There’s a lot more stuff to buy now.

••• By Suzette had to postpone today’s soft opening. Stay tuned! Update: They’re now looking at Tuesday.

••• Celebrity real-estate rumor….

••• There was demo going on at the Cafeteria space at W. Broadway and Reade yesterday—I saw/heard it with my own eyes/ears. And work has started on the restaurant going into the Churrascaria Tribeca space.

••• From the Lower Manhattan Community Church: “The Great Downtown Egg Hunt is Saturday, April 12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Every year, around 500 friends and neighbors join us for this free, community event. In addition to a fun, safe egg hunt for children up to 3rd grade, there will also be face painting, carnival style games, and photos with the Easter Bunny. No need to preregister. We hope you are able to join us at PS 89 (201 Warren) on the 12th.”

••• I came across this on Twitter…. Evidently, the film production company Two Penguins is making a film about a renovation happening on White Street. I’m guessing it’s the big project at 60, 62, and 66 White, and that Veronica is Veronica Mainetti. Daniel Fickle has taken some great stills—check out the Two Penguins Facebook page for more.
