Seen & Heard: Nili Lotan’s Summer Pop-Up

••• Among Soho Photo‘s June exhibits: Susanne Middelberg‘s “Wonderwoman” series. “I place her in human situations where you would never find a superhero.”

••• Nili Lotan is opening a pop-up “concept store” (?) called inspired by: (that’s the name, “inspired by:”) at 48 Walker: “Located in her studio and showroom, the pop-up boutique will feature a selection of Lotan’s Spring/Summer essentials and a curated collection of local vintage finds, art books, and wares.” There’s a private party May 13, and then I’m guessing the shop debuts the next day The shop opens May 15.

••• Press release: “Friends of Tribeca Park is sponsoring an event for My ParksDay on May 17, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. There is painting to do. There is soil to be turned. ••• Meanwhile, Friends of Duane Park emailed about an event of its own: “We are having our annual ‘earth day’ celebration next Sunday, May 11. It’s from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the park, rain or shine. We’ll have music, cute farm animals to see and pet, and a Mother’s Day plant-a-flower-for-mom activity for kids. It’s fun, it’s free, and we’ll have refreshments, too.”
