The writing is on the window: The Steven Alan Home Shop is moving to Williamsburg. The Franklin Street shop will close at the end of July or middle of August, and the Brooklyn one will open in October. It opened just over a year ago, in March of 2013. One has to assume that foot traffic (by which I mean the lack thereof) was an issue, and the construction on Franklin can’t have helped.

Williamsburg, as we all know, is a pain to get to from here. If you don’t have the Uber app, you really should get it.
