••• Did anyone else notice the waterfall at 56 Leonard over the weekend? You could even hear it from across Church Street. (Then again, on Labor Day weekend you can hear a pin drop around here.)

••• Childrenswear brand Egg by Susan Lazar opens its new Franklin Street store (next to where All Good Things was) today.

••• I got the tiniest peek inside the old Jerry’s Café space at 90 Chambers. If it’s not a nail salon, I’ll be surprised. Wondering if the one on Warren, in 149-151 Church, is moving (since that building is being torn down).

••• One Vandam is getting its actual façade…. I’ll miss the black grid “clipping system.”

••• Tribeca treasure Robert Janz has entered a collage phase—cutting up and rearranging advertising posters before painting on them. Excellent stuff!
