Broadway in the ’70’s?” emailed R., along with a link to Box Turtle Bulletin‘s posting of the old advertisement at right. “There was also a leather bar in the basement of the court building just north of Thomas/W. Broadway about 20 years ago (I’ve forgotten the name) but it only lasted about a year.” Anyone out there remember details about either establishment? Do tell!
••• Whole Foods is testing a rewards program (not at the Tribeca store): “Customers will be given the option of a physical rewards card as well as a mobile app that can be downloaded for iOS. They will then be able to earn points that can be ‘redeemed for discounts and store experiences’ such as cooking classes.
