“Reines Gallery has signed a lease for its first retail showroom in New York City,” announced Winick Realty Group in a press release; the space in question is the 1,400-square-foot storefront at the corner of West Street and Laight (in the River Lofts Tower building). “Zvi Reines, who has worked overseas and maintained a studio showroom in the past […] will present a dynamic program of exhibitions from a diverse group of artists that includes paintings, prints, photography, sculpture, decorative and ceremonial objects, including selections of Judaica, books and manuscripts. Custom framing, printing and art-related services will also be offered.” There’s not much about Reines online, so we’ll have to wait till the gallery opens, which could be as soon as mid-November.
