••• T Magazine says Little Park, the new 85-seat restaurant at the Smyth from the Locanda Verde folks (Andrew Carmellini et al) will open Nov. 6. “I’ve been thinking a lot about consciously healthy cuisine,” said the chef, but he draws the line at putting a kale salad on the menu. (The OpenTable page says it’ll be open for breakfast and lunch, but that’s not happening just yet.) Plus: A recipe for beetroot tartar with horseradish cream and rye crumble. (“Beetroot” always reminds me of “tunafish” and “pug dog”—it’s delightfully redundant.) Thanks to N. for the photo of the signage.
