Interior designer Kay Douglass’s third South of Market shop is opening in the former Vestry Wines space at Washington and Vestry, in the River Lofts. The original SOM opened in Atlanta 14 years ago, and there’s a second one in Charleston. “Each is overflowing with antiques sourced from France and Belgium, re-purposed objects, upholstery, and a large selection of light fixtures including iron sconces, chandeliers, industrial pendants and custom made basket lights,” says the website. “The South of Market aesthetic is clean, rustic, unique and sophisticated.”
