••• From T.: “Walked by the north west corner of the Brookfield Place yesterday and the ground storefront has a couple of Parm signs up on doors. I took a peek inside and it’s definitely still raw but had a feel of ‘construction is about to start.'” (Last we heard they were shooting for a March opening.)
••• Nice to see that P.J. Clarke’s is back to its old self (although I’m sure the timing isn’t to its liking). You’ll recall there was a lawsuit and petition.
••• The Nexxus salon at 39 N.Moore is soft opening in advance of its official opening in March. There’s a rumor that it’s (also?) a sort of training center for stylists.
••• This month’s meeting of the 1st Precinct Community Council is be Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the station house at Ericsson and Varick.
••• DMR says that Ali Lohan, and not Lindsay, is renting at the W Downtown.
••• In response to a tweet asking when it’s Tribeca location would open, Gourmet Garage said “late Spring 2015!!” Let’s cross our fingers….
