A sign in the window says that American Flatbread Tribeca Hearth—the local outpost of a Vermont-based chain that opened in January of 2013 in one of the neighborhood’s toughest locations—has closed for renovations (but that it’s still hosting private events).

As we know from past experience, anytime a restaurant closes, there’s a question as to whether it’ll reopen. Let’s hope American Flatbread does.
