••• I hear that JCP Downtown, which has been on the prowl for a lot more room, is considering (or has maybe even taken it) the former Megu space. I have to think Thomas Street residents would be happy to have it not be a restaurant, despite the increase in stroller traffic.
••• Añejo answered SJW’s question about whether the restaurant will start dinner delivery anytime soon (it already does weekday lunch, and the menu was recently revamped): “We do not currently have dinner delivery, but are definitely talking about it. Hopefully, we’ll be able to move on that in the next few weeks or so. Maybe your reader will even prompt us to move it up sooner.”
••• Press release: “The Urban Justice Center, one of New York City’s oldest and most prominent legal services organizations, is opening a new, permanent headquarters in Lower Manhattan to expand its services to the most vulnerable New Yorkers—including street vendors, sex workers, Iraqi refugees, incarcerated people on Rikers Island, survivors of domestic violence, veterans, the mentally ill, LGBT homeless youth and the poor in general.” Wait, street vendors? Anyway, it’s on the ninth floor of 40 Rector. Sen. Cory Booker is coming to the unveiling at 10 a.m. on March 2, if you’re a groupie.
••• El Vez Burrito [bar] is now looking like it’ll open the week of March 9. And that’s the last update you’ll read here until we know for sure.
••• Gunbae put up some temporary signage at 67 Murray.

I dunno… If Añejo delivered I may stop going outdoors entirely.
