••• People keep asking what’s going into the old Harrison space, and if I knew, I promise I’d tell you. This photo just came in from a reader: Despite the papered windows, the space is still deep in demolition phase.
••• Press release: “Today, a coalition of six federal, state and city elected officials sent the attached letter to Mayor Bill de Blasio, urging him to reopen the section of a Lower Manhattan street that has remained closed to general traffic since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The ongoing closure of that portion of Park Row—between Worth Street/Chatham Square and the mouth of the Brooklyn Bridge—has had a negative impact on local residents, small businesses and overall traffic flow between the Chinatown/Lower East Side and Financial District communities, the elected officials stated in their letter. Co-signers of today’s letter included Congressman Jerrold Nadler, Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez, State Senator Daniel Squadron, State Assembly Member Sheldon Silver, Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer and City Council Member Margaret Chin.” Hear, hear!
••• Amusing tweet from M.M. De Voe: “Our of winter despair I put on NBC and Rachael Ray was on. Are those the Twin Towers out her ‘window'”? Sure looks like it.
••• From the Battery Conservancy: “Barring more snowstorms, this Friday, March 6, park visitors will be able to enter the park from Battery Place at Greenwich Street and follow the newly opened path along The Battery Oval all the way to Pier A. That same day, visitors will be able to use the completely rebuilt comfort station, also located along that path.”
••• Opening March 19 at Apexart: “Feel Big Live Small explores dioramas and miniatures as well as our fascination with all things small, both as a technical feat and a psychological relationship. The artworks in this exhibition move beyond a simple recreation of what surrounds us, creating optical illusions and pieces of wonderment that make viewers look twice.”
••• The Victoria Road pop-up event scheduled for tonight has been postponed till March 12, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Same place.

Any idea what’s going in the old Josephines or telepan local spot?
I’m glad they’re trying to open Park Row. The traffic on Frankfort street is horrible with the entrance to the FDR and people just trying to get to Chinatown.
I asked someone working on the demolition at the Harrison space, and he said it was a restaurant!
