I have a mental list of things to keep an eye on when I walk around, and right now that list is dominated by buildings waiting to be unveiled. The other day, I realized that while I have an idea of what’s behind the curtain, so to speak, you may not.
Roundup time!
Along with each shot of the building under wraps are any renderings I thought interesting and maybe a note. I skipped most interiors because they all kind of look the same; click the links in blue and you’ll likely get some. And I didn’t include buildings still in the demolition phase (111 Murray, 45-51 Park Place) or ones where we have no renderings and/or reason to expect anything other than refurbishment (35 Walker, 74 Reade).
I don’t think I missed any, but feel free to correct me, gently. Now, starting from the north….

I don’t know if we had seen the Canal Street side (directly above; click to enlarge) before.

Very interesting courtyard! I don’t believe we’ve seen it before.

THE READE CHAMBERS (87 CHAMBERS AND 71 READE)
The top two photos are of the Chambers and Reade sides, respectively, followed by the Chambers and Reade renderings. And the courtyard rendering is new to me.
