In the News: Lay of the Land at Brookfield Place

••• New York magazine has a breakdown of what’s where at Brookfield Place; there’s a map that I don’t feel comfortable swiping. I think these are meant to be what’s opening Thursday (except for Saks).

Street Level: Lululemon, Paul Smith, Theory, Michael Kors, Vince, Scoop, J.Crew, Davidoff, Hermès, Ermenegildo Zegna, Bottega Veneta, Parm [not opening yet], Le District, Saks Fifth Avenue.
Level Two: Posman Books, Judith & Charles, Bonobos, Vilebrequin, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, Saks Fifth Avenue. (Not mentioned: Satya, pictured above, which I’d wager is among those debuting this week, and Babesta and Diane Von Furstenberg, which definitely are)

••• According to the FiDi Fan Page on Facebook, the new Gap store at Broadway and Maiden Lane opens on Wednesday. UPDATE: More details in a comment from Luis: “A little more info on the opening of The Gap on Maiden Lane and Broadway on Wednesday: This Gap will include Gap, Baby Gap, Gap Kids and Gap Body.”

••• And Smashburger opened last week at 136 William (which is one block from the Bareburger at 155 William…?). —FiDi Fan Page

••• The Southbridge Towers privatization drama continues. —Downtown Post NYC
