Vermont-based furniture maker Pompanoosuc Mills is closing its store at 124 Hudson; it had been in the neighborhood 11 years (moving one storefront down a year or so ago). The last day is Monday; until then, you’ll find many items on sale. The impression I got is that the brand is taking a breather for now from the New York City market.

No word yet on what, if anything, is taking the space.
