Johnson Trading Gallery has opened a pop-up “garage sale” at 70 Franklin (at the corner of Franklin Place). It’s open Thursday through Sunday, and until April 11, it’s showcasing a collection of 20th-century furniture and objects, along with the artwork of Robert Loughlin. Then, starting May 11—until who knows when—it’s shifting to the gallery’s stable of contemporary furniture designers. (The piece above right is by Aranda\Lasch.) The hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., more or less, and if you can’t stop by, you might want to make an appointment to visit Johnson Trading Gallery’s warehouse in Woodside, Queens. It’s in an old movie theater.
