I saw this on Curbed and then several folks emailed it to me, because we’re all excited about it: OldNYC.org, a site that makes the New York Public Library’s historical photos of the city incredibly easy to browse. What a gift! I randomly chose a few to post here, but they’re just the tip of the iceberg. Go browse away the long weekend! And you can help fix the captions (street names especially need our input). I did five or six and then realized I had to stop or I’d never stop.
