In the News: Amada Opening Forecast

••• New York magazine’s fall preview says Amada (the Spanish restaurant at Brookfield Place) will open in December. Does the absence of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon from the list mean it’s not debuting till next year?

••• “Alexander Wang may sign up for office space at the top of 115 Broadway [….] The designer plans to take about 75,000 square feet, including the 21-story building’s penthouse floor, a unique space that evokes the building’s neo-Gothic architecture and interior ornamentation with original wood-paneled walls, tall ceilings and stained glass. […] In recent months, Gucci signed on for more than 80,000 square feet at 195 Broadway, and Hugo Boss said it will relocate its New York City headquarters from Chelsea to 74,000 square feet at 55 Water St.” The company is currently at 386 Broadway, and presumably Wang still lives around here. —Crain’s
