••• “Police are looking for two young men who spray-painted and broke into a Tribeca building, while one was wearing a blue jacket with ‘NYPD’ printed on the back. The two men climbed the fire escape at 139 Franklin St., near Varick Street, a building home to a storage center, at about 1:53 a.m. on Dec. 7.” Someone from the 1st Precinct confirmed that they tagged the building “TRIRAQ.” Here’s a link to the above video if it’s not showing up. —DNAinfo

Hopefully the police catch these guys and charge them properly. It is criminal what they have done to historic buildings i the neighborhood.
Maybe they were just on patrol with the Triraq Neighborhood Watch? Sweet little neighborhood boys. They shouldn’t be too hard to find.
Maybe Erik could post a “Who in Tribeca?”, so Smithers or Ripps can I.D. the two young men?
