Handbag brand Joy Gryson will soon be without a home. After closing her Boerum Hill store less than two years after it opened, the local designer is closing her original location at 106 Franklin Street in the coming days. Stop by the store for one-of-a-kind steals, or use code MOVING60 to shop online. An email announcing the sale said the brand would reopen in a new location later this year.

I emailed Joy to find out if they’ll try to stay in the neighborhood (where they also live). Let’s hope so. UPDATE: The building is evidently being sold, and a new location has yet to be determined. Besides all of the product, some furniture and fixtures are also for sale.
