Summer @ JCP: JCP Camp and Summer Programs

This summer JCP (www.jcpdowntown.org) is offering a fun-filled camp experience for children two-and-a-half to five years old. Because we understand that summer scheduling can be difficult, our program has flexible dates: We invite your child to attend camp for the week(s) that work for your family. (For children ages 6 months through three years old, scroll down to see My Grown Up & Me for Summer 2016 programming.)

New this summer: Creative Cooking and Sensational Science interwoven throughout the camp day. All weeks also include daily sprinkler time, weekly music with Oran Etkin’s Timbalooloo Hebrew, art, a park trip with themed scavenger hunts, special events, and all-camp Shabbat. At registration, parents may pre-order challah for their child to take home each Friday, carrying over the Shabbat feeling from camp to home. Additionally, after last summer’s well-received and successful Hebrew Language Initiative, we are excited to continue integrating Hebrew language into the day’s activities. Throughout the camp day, children will participate in creative activities and songs that incorporate Hebrew.

Our camp staff members are highly trained and experienced early childhood educators who bring creativity and excitement to each camp day. Camp groupings will include mixed-age groups for our older campers.

Click here to register today. The enrollment deadline is Friday, March 11, and groups fill up quickly. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis. Registration will be considered complete once you have received a confirmation notice. After March 11, there will be a $30 late registration charge per session for all camp enrollments. Final decisions regarding group placement are made by the JCP Camp team. For more information: 212-334-3533 or lauran@jcpdowntown.org.
