Last year around this time, I ran a post of spectacular photos taken by Albert C. Lee on a daytime helicopter flight above New York City. Perhaps even more spectacular are his photos recently taken at night. He posted a full set on Facebook, and I’ve gathered a bunch of the Lower Manhattan ones here (along with a few from Midtown that were too nice to resist). The tour was by NYonAir, which flies out of Kearny, N.J., and specializes in helicopter photo tours with the doors off (for better photography).
