••• A Wall Street Journal article on the opening of the Fulton Center–World Trade Center link yesterday says that the Cortlandt Street 1 train station is scheduled to reopen sometime in 2018.

[…] While the focus of Spring Place is professional, the founders envision something between WeWork and Soho House.” The Spring Place says that the following are “available to members only, and their guests: All day restaurant, bar and lounge, 2 private dining rooms, sunken living room and music room; 10,000 + square foot rooftop; Private Cinema.” Spring Studios never mentioned a private club when it applied for a liquor license, and I can’t imagine the community board will be happy about this. —Wall Street Journal
