241 West Broadway, application for liquor license for entity to be formed by Sean Cunningham – Resolution

That’s the former Cercle Rouge space, and Sean Cunningham is almost certainly the same Sean Cunningham who owns the Brass Monkey pub in the Meatpacking District. He’s also a partner in Seamus Mullen’s El Colmado Butchery and tapas bar, so there’s a shred of hope he has non-pub plans. I emailed the Brass Monkey to see if I can squeeze out a bit more info. Otherwise we’ll have to wait for the Tribeca Committee meeting on July 13.

UDPATE: The notice posted on the door says the hours will be 8 a.m. to 2 a.m.
