••• Newyorkist tweeted photos and a video from today’s shoot on Cortlandt Alley. The signs say “Caine,” but that’s likely a fake name. It looks like they built a wall on the street (and then busted through it) to make the alley appear to be a dead end. (“Friend in industry says he thinks is for ‘The Affair,” said Newyorkist. He thought maybe the woman and man are Catalina Sandino Moreno and Danny Fisher. UPDATE: Mruptight says it’s the TV show “Quantico.”
••• “Howard Hughes Corporation, working with the Department of City Planning, is now asking the City Planning Commission to tack on the rebuilding process of the 1907 [Tin Building] warehouse to an existing land use approval, for the well-underway overhaul of Pier 17, calling it a ‘minor modification.’ […] Developers are asking CPC to allow for the reconstruction of the Tin Building by folding it into Pier 17’s ULURP—if the CPC approves the “minor” modification, the Tin Building would not require any other major city approvals to build.” —DNAinfo
••• Tribeca Trib reposted a 2003 article on the ornate post office building that used to be in City Hall Park.
@olv says Quantico. Makes sense with the police gear, and that looks like Priyanka Chopra.
