••• We go through this every year…. Is trick-or-treating at local businesses happening after the parade/party on Sunday, October 30; on Halloween itself (Monday, October 31); or on both? UPDATE 10/22: See comments from Reade Street Animal Hospital, Tribeca Treats, and Torly Kid.
••• Tomorrow (Saturday) is the Tribeca Alliance’s Family Day at Bogardus Plaza from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. “There will be several activities, a play area, a craft table, toss-a-ring, Play-Doh table, hula hoop demo, snacks, two balloon artists, two face painters, and much more,” says Ann Benedetto of A Uno Tribeca. “Everything is free donated by the small business of Tribeca.”
••• Fowler & Wells doesn’t seem to be taking online reservations yet, but you can make one by calling 212-658-1848.
••• The P.S. 150 Rummage Sale is Tuesday, October 25, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: “We have a ton of great stuff this year, and a bake sale will be running concurrently for anyone who likes to snack while they browse a wide assortment of lightly used clothes, toys, housewares and more.”
••• I hadn’t realized that the south side of the Beekman condo tower has a trompe l’oeil effect going on.
••• A reader sent over a pic of the Made in Italy pop-up now open at Broadway and Howard.
••• The Alma Thomas show at the Studio Museum in Harlem is a very good reason to go WayAboCa, but do it soon: Its last day is Oct. 30.
